Upton Victory Hall Bowling Club

The ‘Bowling and Indoor Games Club’ is one of the original constituent clubs of the Upton Victory Hall which has, since 1919, been such a feature of the Parish of Upton. The Club benefits from the shared services of a full time groundsman who has created a green which is considered by us, and our visiting teams, as the finest in the area.

Man playing bowls

We have our own comfortable clubroom with kitchen and cloakroom facilities and a licensed bar. Floodlighting is available when required and there are covered viewing areas.

Play Programme
The Club has a very active programme of social bowls, in-house competitions and local League Matches.

League match schedule
Currently, two teams play in the evening Birkenhead League, one in the Wallasey League, and one in the North Wirral League. Additionally, three teams participate in the Birkenhead Afternoon League. The number of matches to be played ensures that anyone interested in team playing is assured of opportunities.
